Travel by bus Dubrovnik – Albanija From Dubrovnik to the Albanian border the distance is approximately 180 km and the trip lasts about three hours with car (if traffic conditions are good). Unfortunately, direct bus service between Dubrovnik and Albania does not exist, so the only option is to go by rented car or minibus (see below). For the first part of the trip to Montenegro it is possible to travel with bus from Dubrovnik.  If your final destination is Durres or Tirana, you most properly will have to take a taxi from e.g. ulcinj for the last part of the journey, Ulcinj can be reached by bus from Dubrovnik, alternativly you can take bus to Bar or Podgorica and then continue to Ulcinj from there on.

Other means of transport By car: Travelling by car on the route Dubrovnik - Albania is the easiest option. Distance from Dubrovnik to the Albanian border is about 180 km and from Dubrovnik to Tirana is approximately 330 km. Travel duration between Dubrovnik – Tirana Albania is around 5 hours and 30 minutes. Rent-a-car: renting a car and driving to Albania is usually restricted by most car rental companies, so you will have to ask around. By train: There is no railway connection. By plane: Croatia Airlines offers flights from Dubrovnik to Tirana, but do not expect big savings on time compared with travelling by car or bus/taxi.
